And that’s a wrap on an absolutely fabulous time @phoenixvillefilmfestival !!!! In only it’s second year @kylebthompson, Samantha Artese, @yourfriendleeyuh @keithgiosamusic @z_joseph_guice @bryanthendricks @drewb0ardman and many others working in front of and behind the scenes have put together a fest that was full of joy, inspiration, ease, community, and friendship that brought many back this year and will hopefully have us all back celebrating with future projects.
From the opening night festivities, fabulous screenings, thoughtful Q&As, red carpet fun, after party networking and silliness to learning and growing together… what a blast. Leah & Drew led a storytelling workshop that had many sharing tools, tricks, ways in and through and inspiring each other. Sam led a Connecting through Creativity workshop that had us on our feet and in our hearts; sharing and finding new ways to explore, access, and move our feelings… and creating a safe space of letting go and leaving with… Joe led the Screenplay readings, giving the writers a chance to hear their work aloud in a packed theatre. Every one of them welcomed us and made both our work and spirits feel appreciated and a beautiful community of filmmakers became fast friends. I wasn’t able to attend last year when Overdue screened, I heard so many wonderful things and @phoenixvillefilmfestival every word was true, so grateful I got to attend this year and experience it first hand.
